Senior DevOps / SRE – System Administrator

Role Overview

Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer position covering night shifts and weekends with direct responsibility for operational continuity of cloud and on-premise infrastructure in real production environments. This is a highly technical senior-level role designed for professionals with solid experience in critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime and SLAs during night and weekend shifts
• Resolve critical production incidents autonomously
• Monitor infrastructure and cloud services proactively
• Manage and resolve critical incidents during night shifts
• Provide continuity for technical tasks and projects initiated by other teams
• Maintain and supervise CI/CD pipelines
• Administer Linux systems at advanced level
• Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration
• Administer cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
• Work with virtualization (KVM / VMware)
• Manage networking, storage and security policies
• Apply DevOps best practices, automation and observability
• Document and communicate clearly for shift handovers
• Prevent business interruptions and maintain service continuity

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years in Linux system administration (ideally 8+)
• Experience in cloud environments, data centers and critical operations
• Real DevOps / SRE experience with full autonomy
• Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
• Background in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Technical Environment

• Multi-client and multi-cloud infrastructure
• Linux (advanced administration)
• AWS and/or Azure
• Docker & Kubernetes
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI or others)
• Virtualization (VMware, KVM)
• Networking, storage and security policies
• Real production infrastructure (not laboratory environment)

• Organized and clear communication between shifts
• Multidisciplinary perspective (cloud and on-premise)
• Cloud / DevOps certifications (valued but not replacing experience)

Important Note: This is not a basic support role. This is not L1/L2 support. This is an operations, decision-making and real responsibility role requiring autonomous work and technical decision-making during shifts.
