About the role
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy integration applications, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
- Build new integrations from scratch and ensure reliable, smooth deployments across environments.
- Develop clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code using Git/GitHub version control.
- Design and implement API-based integrations, middleware solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain MuleSoft solutions using DataWeave, major connectors, and the MuleSoft platform.
- Work on Salesforce integrations and collaborate with Salesforce engineers to deliver connected solutions.
- Partner with QA engineers and business analysts to understand requirements, validate solutions, and deliver against business objectives.
- Implement unit tests, database interactions, security controls, and other engineering best practices.
- Design and develop RPA bots using MuleSoft RPA where required.
- Explore and contribute to Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions where applicable.
- Identify opportunities to improve integration architecture, development practices, performance, and reliability.
- 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience within a mid-to-large-sized organization is mandatory.
- Strong practical knowledge of MuleSoft, including DataWeave, major connectors, platform capabilities, and integration patterns.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing APIs, middleware integrations, microservices, and enterprise integration solutions.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise applications and systems.
- Strong understanding of integration methodologies, API design principles, and distributed application architecture.
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub and experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong database knowledge and an understanding of database interaction and security best practices.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, testing practices, and scalable software development.
- Familiarity with RPA and MuleSoft RPA is a plus, while experience with MuleSoft IDP is also advantageous.
- Knowledge of additional integration platforms or technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while managing priorities and delivering high-quality solutions independently.
