About the role
Accountabilities
- Own the day-to-day creative production workflow, coordinating weekly project plans, daily schedules, sprint capacity, and deliverables from ideation through launch.
- Review creative concepts and outputs, performing quality control across scripts, edits, pacing, visual execution, brand alignment, and advertising-platform requirements.
- Build, manage, and grow a creator and UGC network, including recruiting, onboarding, coordinating, briefing, and maintaining an organized library of raw footage and reusable assets.
- Manage relationships with creators, actors, photographers, videographers, production assistants, and other suppliers, including rate negotiations, statements of work, availability, and talent rosters.
- Manage production budgets and contribute to forecasting across talent, locations, vendors, props, wardrobe, and other production needs while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Partner with creative leadership, growth, and strategy teams to translate the creative calendar into achievable production plans, providing clear guidance on capacity, timelines, dependencies, and feasibility.
- Convert creative briefs into practical production materials, including shot lists, call sheets, timelines, deliverable checklists, and production plans for both creator-first and polished content.
- Source locations, props, wardrobe, and other production requirements, and oversee production days when needed.
- Own production compliance by securing usage rights, model releases, and required documentation, while ensuring creative adheres to applicable Canadian health-advertising requirements and restrictions on claims and imagery.
- Capture and communicate production learnings by connecting deliverables to concepts, facilitating post-production feedback, and identifying what is performing well and where creative iteration is needed.
- Develop scalable production systems, workflows, documentation, and processes that increase creative output while reducing bottlenecks, complexity, and unnecessary costs.
- Use AI tools throughout the production process to test creative directions efficiently, remix and version assets at scale, and improve production workflows.
- 5+ years of experience in creative project management, production, creative operations, or a related field, including responsibility for production budgets.
- Demonstrated success improving creative processes within a growth-stage or fast-paced environment, with measurable examples of efficiency or workflow improvements.
- Experience building or managing creator, UGC, or content production pipelines at scale, with confidence working across both lo-fi, creator-first content and polished productions.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing and how creative production supports testing, optimization, and growth.
- Fluency with AI-assisted creative production, including using AI to explore concepts, produce variations, and scale content efficiently.
- Experience mentoring or informally leading junior team members, freelancers, creators, or other production talent.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, requests, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to represent production considerations in cross-functional discussions.
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on improving production quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Experience working within regulated advertising environments is highly valued, particularly in healthcare or other industries with strict compliance requirements.
- A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to prioritize effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
- A kind, empathetic, collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for making everyday healthcare more accessible and reducing stigma.
