Senior Associate Technical Consultant | Cloud & Platform Engineering

Accountabilities:

• • Own client engagements from kickoff through executive readout, serving as the primary customer contact and single point of accountability for scope, governance, delivery, and outcomes.
  • Establish success criteria, manage Statements of Work and change control, and maintain alignment between stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Lead engagement governance through standups, status reporting, steering reviews, RAID management, decision tracking, and proactive risk escalation.
  • Ensure quality and readiness of client-facing deliverables through peer reviews, structured checkpoints, and consistent delivery standards.
  • Lead a 2–3 person pod, coordinating discovery, analysis, delivery, and executive readout activities while ensuring appropriate staffing for each engagement.
  • Set goals for pod members, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and support their professional and technical development.
  • Manage staffing and utilization across client and internal projects, forecasting capacity requirements and maintaining a consistent delivery rhythm.
  • Maintain strong engagement hygiene, including risk tracking, decision logs, documentation, and artifact version control.
  • Lead technical discovery and analysis across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a focus on cloud platforms, platform engineering, identity, networking, security, applications, and data.
  • Translate technical findings into prioritized recommendations, effort estimates, sequenced roadmaps, and executive-ready narratives tied to business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI-driven solutions to reduce manual effort, improve productivity, and accelerate insight generation.
  • Develop and maintain reusable questionnaires, scoring frameworks, templates, and other delivery assets to improve consistency and scalability.
  • Own and continuously improve Rapid Solutions playbooks, methodologies, templates, and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with practice leadership to align offerings with broader delivery frameworks and cross-practice initiatives.

  Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in consulting, engagement leadership, technical delivery, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client engagements end to end, including scope, governance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and executive presentations.
  • Experience leading small technical teams or project pods, with the ability to coach, mentor, set goals, and manage delivery capacity.
  • Strong understanding of multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Practical knowledge across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, identity, networking, security, applications, and data domains.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex technical findings into prioritized business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior executives.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, delivery frameworks, reusable templates, playbooks, or other standardized consulting assets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, identify delivery risks early, and operate effectively in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
  • Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality client outcomes.
  • Curiosity about AI-driven technologies and their practical application to improve consulting and delivery processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams while maintaining accountability for individual and engagement outcomes.
