Your Responsibilities

• Own the technical development of the data warehouse, advancing its architecture, data models, and quality standards
• Strategically deploy dbt: modular modeling, tests, documentation, refactoring, and reusable patterns with Jinja while establishing best practices in the team
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of the Redshift-based warehouse and help professionalize the platform long-term
• Develop new data pipelines and ensure their clean orchestration and stable operation in Airflow
• Introduce best practices in governance and observability, develop standards for data quality, ownership, monitoring, and documentation, and ensure early problem detection and reliable resolution

Your Strengths

• Multiple years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or comparable role with hands-on development of modern data platforms
• Very strong SQL skills, expertise in dbt, data modeling, complex transformations, and performance optimization
• Work according to modern engineering best practices and are curious about pragmatically employing new tools, automations, and AI-driven approaches
• Strong knowledge of cloud data warehouses such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or comparable technologies; ideally with experience in Airflow, monitoring, and stable operation of data workflows
• Strong engineer who is curious about business processes, thinks in terms of data products and standards, and is committed to actively shaping governance, quality, and transparency of a data platform
