About the role

Accountabilities

    • Manage medical affairs projects from initial brief through delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met.
    • Build and maintain trusted client relationships while developing a strong understanding of client products, priorities, and medical affairs strategies.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient, high-quality project execution.
    • Manage project finances, including estimates, budget tracking, reconciliation, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and take proactive action to keep deliverables on track.
    • Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to a collaborative, productive, and high-performing team environment.
    • Identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and expand the scope of support provided.
    • Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality scientific communications that clearly and accurately convey complex medical information.
    • Participate in occasional client visits, onsite events, and other travel requirements associated with project delivery.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
      • At least 3 years of experience in project management, account management, or a comparable role.
      • Previous experience in medical communications or the pharmaceutical industry, particularly supporting medical affairs projects.
      • Proficiency with Veeva is required.
      • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
      • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for project financial tracking and management.
      • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
      • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
      • Ability to build positive and productive relationships with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional stakeholders.
      • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
      • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a genuine interest in scientific and medical communications.
