Accountabilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders, developing a strong understanding of their creative vision, business objectives, functional requirements, and brand standards.
- Build trusted, long-term client relationships by moving beyond reactive order-taking toward proactive consultation, risk identification, and solution development.
- Act as a coach and advocate for assigned creative professionals, helping position them for success and maintaining high standards of performance and client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, client needs, and emerging signals to recommend new capabilities, talent solutions, and opportunities for innovation.
- Lead strategic scoping by translating complex or ambiguous client requests into detailed, actionable job descriptions and talent requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and match high-quality marketing and creative talent to client opportunities based on technical capabilities, cultural alignment, and project requirements.
- Continuously assess account and agency workflows, identifying friction points and developing repeatable, scalable processes that improve delivery and client outcomes.
- Partner with senior account leadership to identify organic growth opportunities and navigate complex client organizations to uncover additional ways to create value.
- Manage day-to-day financial oversight for assigned accounts and workstreams, including budgets, financial tracking, performance analysis, reporting, billing accuracy, and overall account health.
- Mentor and develop Account Executives, promoting accountability, high performance, sound judgment, and a bias toward action.
- Provide calm, emotionally intelligent leadership during challenging situations while maintaining operational discipline across the account team.
- Take ownership of account health and proactively resolve issues before they affect client relationships, talent performance, or financial outcomes.
- 10+ years of experience in an agency or in-house creative environment, with significant experience managing complex, high-touch accounts.
- Strong understanding of creative disciplines and workflows, with the ability to engage credibly with Creative Directors, Strategy Leads, and other senior creative stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to distinguish strong creative briefs from incomplete or ambiguous requirements and translate business objectives into actionable scopes.
- Strong systems-thinking capabilities, with a track record of addressing the underlying process behind recurring problems rather than simply resolving individual issues.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous or evolving environments and creating structure, processes, and roadmaps where established frameworks do not yet exist.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges, assess trade-offs, and drive practical solutions under pressure.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the confidence to respectfully challenge client thinking while maintaining trust and empathy.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage relationships, and collaborate effectively across matrixed organizations.
- High degree of ownership, autonomy, initiative, and accountability for client and account outcomes.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, including experience managing budgets, tracking account performance, and protecting profitability.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to develop team members and establish a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize effectively, and maintain momentum in a fast-moving environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Hourly W-2 compensation of $68–$70 per hour, based on experience.
- Estimated workload of 35–40 hours per week.
- Potential opportunity to convert from the contract position to a full-time role.
- One paid PTO day (8 hours) per quarter after 60 days of employment.
