About the Role
This is a part-time, flexible position designed for someone passionate about bridging science, healthcare innovation, and funding strategy. You will work in a remote-first, international environment with the opportunity to shape the future of digital health and virtual MSK treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Grant sourcing & applications: Identify national, EU, and global research grants and funding opportunities. Write and submit competitive grant applications in collaboration with scientific and clinical teams. Manage reporting requirements and compliance post-award.
- Clinical study support & administration: Support setup, documentation, and coordination of clinical trials and research collaborations. Act as liaison between internal teams, academic partners, and corporate collaborators. Track milestones, deliverables, and timelines across multiple projects.
- Science project management: Coordinate joint projects with universities and life science companies. Oversee research-related documentation, IRB/ethics submissions, and data collection workflows. Ensure efficiency and compliance while enabling scientific excellence.
- Innovation & efficiency: Use modern AI tools for literature review, drafting, project management, and grant monitoring to maximize productivity. Continuously improve internal processes around research and funding.
Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent research background) in health sciences, life sciences, biomedical engineering, digital health, or related field
- Proven experience in grant writing with a track record of successful applications (EU Horizon, NIH, national agencies, foundations)
- Strong scientific writing and communication skills in English
- Experience with clinical research administration (protocols, ethics submissions, reporting)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with academics, clinicians, and corporate partners
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first, international environment
