SAP Engineer

Project Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the end‑to‑end architecture, further development, and modernization of a complex SAP HANA production system, including software, infrastructure components, and relevant interfaces.
• Analysis, discussion, and audience‑appropriate presentation of architecture proposals in close coordination with stakeholders.
• Adoption and localization of corporate SAP strategies and active involvement in digital transformation initiatives.
• Support in incident management and monitoring of integrations with peripheral systems.
• Execution of system updates and patches to ensure system stability and security.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate, security, and audit standards, including SAP hardening.
• Support of process owners and development teams in requirements analysis and solution design of future‑proof end‑to‑end solutions through implementation and handover to operations.
• Leadership of SAP migration, upgrade, and transformation projects.
• Monitoring and technical support of integrations with third‑party systems as well as SAP interfaces to other systems in cloud, hybrid, and on‑premise environments.
• Definition and further development of governance frameworks, architecture standards, and guidelines for SAP architecture.
• Active contribution of recommendations for continuous improvement and implementation of best practices.
