About the role
Accountabilities:
- Administer, maintain, and continuously improve the Salesforce CRM platform, ensuring reliable day-to-day operations for sales and service teams.
- Configure and manage Salesforce CPQ capabilities, including product rules, pricing, quoting, discounting, and related sales processes.
- Manage Salesforce users, profiles, permissions, objects, fields, layouts, validation rules, flows, process automation, reports, and dashboards.
- Establish and optimize assignment rules, escalation rules, auto-response rules, queues, formulas, and other platform configurations in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Service, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into tailored Salesforce solutions.
- Discover, analyze, and organize data from internal sources to develop meaningful reports, dashboards, and business insights.
- Perform data-quality reviews, cleansing activities, and ongoing analysis to improve the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of Salesforce records.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Support and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other internal or third-party business systems.
- Train and support end users on Salesforce capabilities, software tools, and business processes, including the preparation and delivery of training materials.
- Research and recommend third-party Salesforce applications and tools that can improve operational efficiency and user productivity.
- Monitor Salesforce platform releases, evaluate new functionality, and implement relevant features and enhancements.
- Analyze Salesforce data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Contribute to the re-engineering and optimization of an existing Salesforce organization as business needs evolve.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of professional experience administering Salesforce CRM and CPQ, with strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce configuration and platform administration.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) certification is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ, including product configuration, product rules, pricing, quoting, discounting structures, and sales-process workflows.
- Experience configuring Salesforce objects, fields, layouts, validation rules, automation, formulas, reports, dashboards, and other platform components.
- Demonstrated experience re-engineering, optimizing, or updating an existing Salesforce organization.
- Strong data-analysis capabilities, including the ability to build reports and dashboards that provide useful insights for business users.
- Familiarity with data-quality management, data cleansing, and interpreting Salesforce data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather information from business users and translate it into practical solutions.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and develop creative solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience preparing and delivering user training, documentation, or enablement materials.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Business fluency in English, including the ability to participate effectively in English-language interviews and professional communication.
- Ability to work the required schedule of 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST.
- Candidates must reside within India and be able to work remotely from the country.
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification.
- 100+ Salesforce Trailhead badges and multiple Superbadges.
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Basic familiarity with Apex and Visualforce.
- Experience with third-party Salesforce integrations and applications.
- Experience developing user documentation and training programs.
- Interest in pursuing additional Salesforce certifications.
- Fully remote position open to candidates residing anywhere in India.
