Major Responsibilities
- Develop business based on good customer relationships and identify spec-in opportunities for future business
- Lead pricing and preparation of commercial offers
- Lead negotiation of offers with support from all stakeholders
- Ensure competitiveness of bids through target price calculations
- Conduct commercial risk assessments and define risk minimization measures
- Explore alternatives in technical solutions, sourcing, and innovative content to differentiate proposals
- Lead bid teams and coordinate all functions involved in timely preparation of technical offers, BOQs, costing, and execution plans
- Ensure compliance with RfQs, customer terms and conditions, technical specifications, and Grid Solution offers
- Optimize project cash flow with sourcing and supplying entities
- Support sales team in offer elaboration and win strategy implementation from Go/No-Go through bid approval and submission
- Proactively understand customer needs and lead bid preparation teams
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree from accredited technical university in electrical engineering or similar field
- Moderate sales experience in grid and infrastructure sector, especially high-voltage products portfolio
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience with complex EPC/turnkey projects and contractual structures
- Fluency in German and English
- Willingness to travel 30% or more
