About the role
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement Revenue Operations strategies, tools, workflows, and projects that improve operational efficiency and support revenue growth.
- Build and maintain sales enablement programs, including onboarding, training, best-practice resources, and a comprehensive revenue operations playbook.
- Manage and optimize the revenue technology stack, including vendor relationships, system configuration, user access, troubleshooting, and data integrity.
- Maintain a comprehensive view of customer and revenue data to improve alignment and support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze market intelligence, deal wins and losses, customer feedback, product developments, and market trends to identify opportunities and refine revenue strategies.
- Support pipeline development and revenue targets through territory and lead assignment, call-list generation, deal validation, commission processes, and other operational workflows.
- Coordinate revenue-related initiatives such as events, customer renewals, market expansion activities, and cross-functional operational programs.
- Develop and distribute reporting and dashboards covering quotas, pipeline, churn, retention, performance, and other key revenue metrics.
- Partner with leadership to align go-to-market strategies, messaging, pricing, market opportunities, and regional growth plans.
- Collaborate with Finance on budgets, resource allocation, vendor selection, and vendor management.
- Work closely with Finance, Information Security, Legal, HR, and other teams to ensure operational practices align with company policies, legal requirements, and security standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and policies through automation, innovation, and responsible use of AI.
- Collaborate with internal leaders and external stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, share knowledge, negotiate resources, and communicate progress and outcomes.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, regulatory developments, and Revenue Operations best practices.
- Travel as needed to support team initiatives, organizational priorities, and industry events.
- 3–5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a related function supporting fast-paced sales or revenue-generating teams.
- Proven ability to design and implement strategies, workflows, and processes that improve efficiency and align with business objectives.
- Strong technical proficiency with CRM and business tools such as HubSpot, PandaDoc, Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and similar platforms.
- Experience managing technology vendors, troubleshooting systems, maintaining data quality, and ensuring reliable operational infrastructure.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with experience building reports and dashboards that translate SaaS business data into actionable insights.
- Experience with BI and analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable tools.
- Demonstrated ability to use performance metrics to improve transparency, accountability, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Track record of identifying process inefficiencies and implementing automation or other improvements to increase scalability.
- Experience supporting cross-functional revenue operations, including territories, leads, deal validation, call lists, commissions, events, and customer renewals.
- Strong training and enablement skills, including the ability to create and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and leadership.
- Adaptability, initiative, and a continuous-improvement mindset in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Experience managing, recruiting, retaining, coaching, or developing team members is valuable.
- Commitment to creating a respectful, inclusive, equitable, and collaborative workplace.
- A degree in business, operations, or a related field is welcome but not required.
- CAD $100,000–$115,000 compensation range, depending on experience, skills, location, and overall qualifications.
