About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing clients via inbound calls and outbound follow-up to discuss retirement planning needs and solutions
- Conduct needs-based financial conversations to assess retirement readiness, risk tolerance, time horizon, and income goals
- Recommend appropriate retirement solutions, including annuities and investment products, aligned to client objectives
- Educate clients on retirement planning concepts, income strategies, and available product solutions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through a consultative, trust-based approach
- Manage and develop a pipeline of opportunities through consistent follow-up on leads, referrals, and prior interactions
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics
- Accurately document client interactions and sales activities within CRM systems
- Stay current on market trends, product knowledge, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure full compliance with licensing, regulatory standards, and company policies
Schedule
Full-time, remote position. Scheduled business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CT
Required Qualifications
- Active Series 6 and 63 licenses required
- Active Life Insurance license required
- Preference for IAR designation and/or Series 7, or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 3 years of financial services or consultative sales experience, preferably in retirement planning, investments, or wealth accumulation
- Proven ability to build trust and establish relationships in a remote engagement model
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain pipeline discipline
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business technology tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with educators or in a niche/affinity market
- Experience in inbound sales or call center environments
- Familiarity with retirement income planning and annuity solutions
Compensation and Benefits
- $21.44 - $29.16 per hour, plus uncapped commission
- Compensation is commensurate with experience, location, and qualifications
