About the role
Accountabilities:
- Partner with resource management and program leadership to forecast workforce needs, optimize staffing allocation, and align labor categories with program priorities.
- Analyze staffing trends, workforce gaps, and resource data to support informed planning decisions and identify operational risks or optimization opportunities.
- Maintain and improve workforce tracking tools, dashboards, reports, and metrics, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Support hiring managers with job requisition creation, interview practices, candidate evaluation, and established recruiting processes.
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities, ensuring personnel, systems, tools, documentation, and access are ready before employees begin.
- Identify and resolve onboarding delays or risks, continuously improving processes for efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Evaluate candidate submissions against program requirements, skills, labor categories, and workforce needs, providing recommendations to recruiting and hiring stakeholders.
- Coordinate interviews and help deliver a professional, efficient candidate experience.
- Review employment and onboarding documentation for completeness and accuracy while ensuring compliance with federal, DoD, and program-specific requirements.
- Monitor security clearance status and onboarding compliance, escalating risks and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners to coordinate workforce operations, onboarding, and access.
- Analyze workforce information to identify trends and provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Oversee employee offboarding and lifecycle activities, ensuring compliance, continuity, risk mitigation, and accurate documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve workforce processes, reporting, onboarding, and offboarding practices across the program.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple workforce and operational priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze staffing information, workforce trends, and operational data and translate findings into useful recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail when handling employment documentation, clearance information, workforce records, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when working with sensitive personnel and program information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with program leadership, hiring managers, recruiters, subcontractors, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and operate effectively in a dynamic program environment.
- Familiarity with workforce planning, recruiting coordination, onboarding, resource management, compliance, reporting, or project/program operations is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel locally, with travel requirements of up to 10%.
- Salary range: $68,400–$143,700 annually, with final compensation dependent on factors such as location, experience, skills, education, certifications, and applicable contract requirements.
- Work arrangement: Remote, with the position available across the United States; O’Fallon, Illinois is also listed as a location.
