About The Opportunity

As a fast-growing leader in the residential home reselling space, we are seeking a highly organized and experienced Repairs Team Lead to oversee our multi-national team of repair coordinators and manage the end-to-end execution of residential repair projects. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and high-quality repair work across a large volume of properties nationwide.

You’ll play a pivotal role in vendor management, pricing negotiations, repair triage, and quality assurance, all while leading a distributed team across the U.S., Mexico, and India. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong background in residential real estate and construction, and are passionate about driving operational excellence, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact at a rapidly scaling company that’s reshaping the residential real estate landscape. If you’re ready to lead a high-performing team and drive repair excellence across the country, we’d love to connect.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage our network of vendors, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and ongoing relationship development with local and regional contractors.
  • Negotiate budgets and pricing tables with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure homes are market-ready on time and within budget.
  • Address and resolve vendor issues, escalations, or repair delays by partnering with internal & external teams.
  • Lead and manage a remote team of Repair Coordinators operating across multiple time zones (U.S., Mexico, India).
  • Oversee the repair process lifecycle, including project ordering, vendor coordination, scheduling, budget management, status tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Monitor and manage repair pipelines, enforce SOPs, and maintain consistent internal communication.
  • Monitor Repair Coordinator teams’ KPIs and drive performance management and coaching (when necessary)
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding of new Repair Coordinators
  • Deliver regular reporting on project timelines, costs, and challenges, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage the collection and coordination of insurance documentation and claims requests with our insurance provider
  • Support ad-hoc repair and maintenance projects as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience managing teams within the real estate, property management, or home services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of home repair scopes, pricing, and contractor management.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage vendor contracts effectively.
  • Experience managing remote or distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and CRM systems.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
