About the Role

The Psychiatrist at InStride provides high quality psychiatric treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with families, primary care physicians, and outpatient prescribers.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, medication treatment plans, and ongoing medication management to children and teens.
• Collaborate with InStride care team, outpatient pediatricians, and psychiatrists if applicable.
• Participate in clinical team meetings centered on patient care, collaboration, and education.
• Schedule patients and complete documentation in a timely, thorough manner.
• Provide feedback on workflow improvements and ideas for program growth and innovation.

What You Need to Succeed

• New York MD licensure appropriate to clinical discipline and openness to acquiring additional state licenses as care expands.
• Commitment to compassionate, thoughtful treatment.
• Expertise in medication management of children and teens with anxiety, OCD, depression, and ADHD.
