What You'll Do
As a Clinical Nutrition Technician at Imagine Pediatrics, you will be an integral member of the nutrition care team, working collaboratively alongside Registered Dietitians (RDs) to support our mission of increasing safe days at home for pediatric patients with chronic medical, feeding, or behavioral health concerns. The Clinical Nutrition Technician will help to gather key nutrition information, aid in nutrition visit preparation, assist with caregiver communication, and help ensure efficient workflow. All work is completed under the supervision of an RD.
In this role you will:
- Conduct pre-visits with caregivers to obtain dietary recalls, food preferences/dislikes, texture aversions, eating habits, and daily meal schedules to support the RD’s assessment.
- Assist RDs with creating individualized meal plans, snack ideas, recipes, and nutrition handouts using available tools and submit all materials for RD review and approval.
- Prepare charts by entering growth data, z-scores, and vital signs to ensure RD visits begin with complete and accurate patient information.
- Collect, document, and log calorie counts submitted by caregivers to support nutritional monitoring.
- Assist with nutrition scheduling, including rescheduling appointments, helping caregivers find appropriate appointment types, and coordinating with the scheduling team to optimize clinic availability.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Eastern time.
Location: Remote, with occasional travel to our Houston or Tampa office as needed.
