About the role
Accountabilities:
- Act as a primary communications partner for regional and functional stakeholders, providing guidance and support for cross-functional initiatives and translating enterprise priorities into audience-appropriate messaging.
- Partner closely with enterprise communications teams to ensure consistency of messaging while adapting communications for regional and functional audiences.
- Support the creation and activation of employee communities, including regional and functional groups, to strengthen connection, knowledge sharing, and consistent communication.
- Guide stakeholders in applying communication frameworks, standards, channel strategies, and best practices to their day-to-day communications.
- Advise stakeholders on messaging, structure, timing, and channel selection, balancing enterprise consistency with local requirements and audience needs.
- Support coordinated communication rollouts across regions and functions and encourage adoption of established communication standards.
- Lead and support content development for core internal channels, including intranet platforms and all-employee newsletters.
- Ensure content is engaging, accurate, editorially consistent, and aligned with organizational messaging and tone.
- Enable regional and functional teams to create effective communications independently through practical guidance, templates, toolkits, and playbooks.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve scalable communication frameworks, templates, and best practices that increase quality and efficiency.
- Act as a feedback loop between regional and functional stakeholders and enterprise communications, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities to improve communication strategies and channels.
- Track communication and channel-performance metrics and use insights and stakeholder feedback to refine content, guidance, and communication practices.
- Manage multiple communication priorities and projects while maintaining a high standard of quality, clarity, and consistency.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, or possess equivalent professional experience.
- Bring 6+ years of experience in internal, corporate, or enterprise communications, ideally within a global, matrixed, or multinational organization.
- Demonstrate experience partnering with regional or functional stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Have a proven ability to shape communications, provide strategic guidance, and influence outcomes without direct managerial authority.
- Demonstrate experience developing communication templates, toolkits, playbooks, frameworks, and other enablement materials.
- Have experience managing ongoing content for internal channels such as intranets, employee newsletters, or similar enterprise communication platforms.
- Be comfortable creating scalable and repeatable communication processes that enable teams to communicate effectively and consistently.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and editorial quality.
- Possess excellent stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills, combined with sound judgment and a service-oriented mindset.
- Have strong organizational and project-management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Be comfortable operating in ambiguous or evolving environments and bringing structure, clarity, and practical solutions to developing processes.
- Demonstrate a data-informed approach, with experience using communication metrics, feedback, and insights to improve content and channel effectiveness.
- Be able to work effectively across diverse cultures and regions, adapting communication approaches to local context and audience needs.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration skills and the ability to balance competing stakeholder needs and communication priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
