About the role
Accountabilities:
- Manage a pipeline of commercial real estate transactions across the United States, maintaining accurate closing checklists, trackers, deadlines, and transaction status updates.
- Prepare, organize, and coordinate the execution of transaction and closing packages, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
- Conduct real estate due diligence by reviewing leases, title commitments, plats, surveys, site inspection materials, and other transaction-related documentation.
- Assist with retrieving and organizing required documentation and information needed to advance transactions toward closing.
- Draft and review legal descriptions and support other transactional documentation as needed.
- Coordinate effectively across multiple jurisdictions and transaction stakeholders to identify outstanding items and help accelerate closings.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and professionalism while managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
- 4–8 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, preferably within a mid-sized or large law firm or similarly sophisticated real estate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions, due diligence, closing processes, and multi-jurisdictional practices.
- Experience with solar or wind ground leases and/or wireless leases is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Salesforce, GIS, and deed-plotting software, along with the ability to work effectively using remote collaboration tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple transactions, deadlines, and priorities.
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with legal and real estate professionals.
- High ethical, intellectual, and professional standards, combined with curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a positive sense of humor.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.
- Salary: $85,000–$90,000 per year.
- Fully remote: Work full-time from your home office anywhere in the United States.
