QA Engineer [Astrology]

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of mobile MVP and web product releases, improving delivery speed. You will join an experienced team and work on a product in the Astrology niche, which we are actively scaling.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of commercial manual testing experience
• Experience in manual testing of web + mobile (iOS/Android)
• Experience writing test cases, checklists, and bug reports (Steps to Reproduce, Severity, Priority)
• Good understanding of HTTP: methods, status codes, and headers
• Knowledge of testing theory, test design techniques, types and levels of testing
• Experience testing APIs with Postman, Swagger, and OpenAPI
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes
• Experience with databases and SQL queries
• Confident use of browser DevTools for testing and analyzing web applications

Nice to Have

• Experience testing React Native apps
• Familiarity with Testomat or Notion for test cases
• Basic skills with proxy tools (Charles)

Your Responsibilities

• Manual testing of new features (web + mobile iOS/Android)
• Regression and smoke testing before releases
• Creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, bug reports)
• Analyzing and clarifying requirements
