QA Automation Analyst

Accountabilities:

• • Develop a strong technical understanding of client needs, project requirements, and proposed software solutions.
  • Review Software Requirements Specifications with Solution Analysts and provide feedback to improve testability and quality.
  • Contribute to Software Test Plans by defining testing scope, objectives, approaches, and expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders to develop detailed estimates and work packages for QA activities.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated integration, system, and acceptance tests to validate software requirements.
  • Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools and technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, REST Assured, Java, and JUnit.
  • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to support efficient and repeatable releases.
  • Perform API testing across RESTful and SOAP-based web services and validate end-to-end application behavior.
  • Investigate, document, and triage software defects, working with relevant stakeholders to support timely resolution.
  • Prepare and review testing defect reports, progress updates, and test summary reports.
  • Apply QA best practices across the Software Testing Lifecycle and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage AI and LLM-based tools to enhance test planning, test generation, automation, and overall QA efficiency.

  Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience developing automated tests using technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, REST Assured, Java, or JUnit, particularly for Java-based UI modules and web services.
  • 3+ years of experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle and experience designing and executing unit, integration, system, and acceptance-level test suites.
  • Experience with API testing for RESTful and SOAP services using Postman, SoapUI, or comparable testing frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including basic data retrieval queries and joins.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Ant, or Gradle and CI tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
  • Experience working with web servers such as Apache HTTP Server or NGINX.
  • Strong Java programming experience and familiarity with TypeScript, particularly for Playwright automation.
  • Understanding of service-oriented architecture and design principles.
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational database concepts and design.
  • Experience using AI/LLM-based tools to improve test planning, test generation, or QA productivity.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
  • Highly self-motivated, autonomous, detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities.

  Benefits:
