About the role
Accountabilities:
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, leveraging Agile and Scrum practices to ensure projects are completed according to agreed timelines, scope, quality, and objectives.
- Act as Scrum Master and Agile Practitioner, facilitating Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog-related activities.
- Lead sprint planning and execution, ensuring stories are clearly understood, appropriately prioritized, and progressing according to the delivery plan.
- Create and maintain burndown charts and daily tracking mechanisms to monitor sprint progress, including delivery across multiple stories and team members.
- Coordinate project planning activities, defining milestones, dependencies, resources, delivery plans, and execution strategies.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and impediments, proactively identifying challenges and driving appropriate mitigation and resolution.
- Manage relationships with business stakeholders, delivery teams, leadership, and other project participants, ensuring transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and coordinate teams of 20+ professionals, promoting collaboration, accountability, and effective Agile delivery.
- Support global project rollouts across multiple geographies, adapting delivery approaches to different teams, stakeholders, and operational contexts.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, continuous improvement, and effective delivery habits; Agile coaching experience is an advantage.
- Track project and sprint performance, communicate progress to stakeholders, and provide visibility into delivery risks and expected outcomes.
- More than 10 years of total professional experience, including at least 4 years of dedicated project management experience.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working as a Scrum Master and Agile Practitioner.
- Recognized Scrum/Agile certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Agilist.
- Strong practical knowledge of Scrum frameworks, Agile methodologies, sprint management, backlog coordination, and Agile ceremonies.
- Proven experience with project planning, delivery tracking, risk management, stakeholder management, and issue resolution.
- Experience managing teams of 20 or more professionals, with demonstrated leadership and coordination capabilities.
- Experience supporting or managing global rollouts across multiple geographies.
- Strong understanding of Agile metrics, including burndown charts, sprint progress, delivery tracking, and team performance indicators.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex environments, manage competing priorities, and maintain delivery focus.
- Agile Coach experience is an advantage.
- PMP certification is an added advantage.
