About the role
Position Overview
This is not a software development project manager; you will be the driving force behind the successful deployment of our software in ambulatory and enterprise healthcare client environments. The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The Project Manager will be the primary contact with the customer during the implementation working collaboratively with the customer project manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple small- and large-scale projects following the PerfectServe Project Management Methodology.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
Plan the project
- Coordinate transitions from sales to services and eventually transition to customer success for long-term support
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Modify standard project plan to meet the requirements listed in the Statement of Work
- Determine key project success factors for the project that will be evaluated upon completion
Staff the project
- In consultation with the implementation managers, assign the appropriate resources to the project plan
- Ensure all project team members understand the project scope and success factors
- Provide direction and support to the project team
