About the role
Accountabilities:
- Program delivery: Manage customer programs from kickoff through launch and ongoing operations, maintaining clear plans, milestones, owners, action items, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
- Customer onboarding: Coordinate product access, data delivery, documentation, training, and launch-readiness activities to ensure customers are equipped to use the products successfully.
- Customer success: Establish regular customer engagement, understand goals and use cases, monitor adoption, conduct value reviews, and help customers achieve meaningful outcomes from the data.
- Customer support: Act as a responsive first point of contact for program questions and product issues, triaging requests, engaging technical experts, communicating progress, and following issues through resolution.
- Program health and reporting: Track implementation progress, product usage, customer outcomes, risks, feedback, and open issues, and prepare concise updates for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Cross-functional coordination: Connect Product, Engineering, Sales, data infrastructure, subject-matter experts, Marketing, Operations, and customer teams to maintain alignment and momentum across programs.
- Customer feedback and improvement: Capture customer needs, recurring challenges, and product feedback, route insights to relevant teams, and contribute to improvements in products, processes, and customer experience.
- Customer engagement and travel: Build strong working relationships with institutional customers and travel to client sites when required by business or program needs.
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in program management, implementation, customer success, consulting, product operations, or customer delivery within a B2B technology, SaaS, or data-focused environment.
- Industry background: Experience supporting technology, data, or operational programs for electric utilities or similarly complex institutional or public-sector customers; direct utility experience is strongly preferred, while government or emergency-management experience is a plus.
- Customer orientation: Demonstrated ability to understand customer objectives, guide adoption, solve problems proactively, and consistently deliver a strong customer experience.
- Technical aptitude: Experience working with data products, analytics platforms, APIs, enterprise software, or technical integrations, with the ability to discuss data access, permissions, integration dependencies, and data quality with technical teams.
- Program management: Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams, maintain detailed plans and action items, identify risks early, and ensure commitments are delivered on time.
- Communication and judgment: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with technical and business stakeholders, communicate challenges transparently, and determine when issues should be resolved or escalated.
- Collaboration: A hands-on, team-oriented approach with the ability to lead customer meetings, coordinate internal teams, prepare status updates, and work through implementation challenges.
- Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a growing environment where priorities evolve and where initiative, ownership, and follow-through are highly valued.
- Annual salary: $85,000–$100,000 USD for the remote U.S. position.
