About the role
Accountabilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day delivery and administration of energy efficiency programs, ensuring activities remain organized, accurate, and aligned with program objectives.
- Manage product logistics, including ordering, shipping, inventory tracking, and coordination with suppliers and other partners.
- Maintain program data, perform calculations and analysis, and prepare reports that support program performance and decision-making.
- Process invoices, maintain accurate documentation, and provide general administrative and operational support.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, internal teams, and community stakeholders to resolve issues and keep program activities on track.
- Conduct research and contribute to the development of new program initiatives and potential funding opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and program delivery, adapting effectively as priorities evolve.
- Participate occasionally in travel for community visits, meetings, training, or other program-related activities.
- 2+ years of experience in program coordination, operations, energy efficiency, analytics, administration, or a related field.
- Post-secondary education in business, sustainability, environmental studies, energy management, a technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to organize, analyze, calculate, and report on data.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with data, reporting, logistics, contractors, suppliers, or program delivery activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in energy efficiency, utilities, sustainability, or a related industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of the Newfoundland and Labrador energy landscape is an asset.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities or Indigenous-led initiatives is considered a strong asset.
- A flexible, collaborative, and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and respond to changing priorities.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or immigration support and may be required to successfully complete pre-employment checks.
- Targeted compensation of $28–$30 CAD per hour, equivalent to approximately $58,240–$62,400 annually based on a 40-hour work week.
- Overall compensation range of $22.20–$38.50 CAD per hour, with the final offer based on factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, market data, and internal equity.
