About the role
Accountabilities
- Drive the adoption of AI across production operations, identifying agent-driven solutions that optimize workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve service delivery.
- Partner closely with enterprise customers to understand business requirements and align production strategies, SLAs, and KPIs with their objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of customer-specific processes and systems covering workflow management, project delivery, invoicing, and service operations.
- Lead onboarding for new customers and service lines, using AI-first approaches to accelerate, standardize, and improve implementation.
- Scope new services and prepare competitive pricing proposals, estimates, assumptions, and SLAs using intelligent tools and data-driven analysis.
- Provide customer support within the required time zone, particularly for strategic discussions, initiatives, escalations, and production-related priorities.
- Lead complex remediation initiatives from identification through resolution, applying root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop AI agents capable of managing multi-step production processes, enabling production teams to focus on higher-value activities and complex exceptions.
- Identify and eliminate waste, inefficiencies, and quality issues by applying automation and agent-based approaches wherever appropriate.
- Monitor and improve performance against key metrics, including account health, onboarding speed, customer SLAs, quality resolution times, and portfolio financial health.
- Work with Solutions and Product teams to implement, test, and iterate complex technical production workflows for optimal efficiency and scalability.
- Direct production resources and task allocation to ensure customer commitments and performance targets are consistently achieved.
- Produce regular internal and external reporting on production metrics, KPI performance, customer SLAs, trends, risks, and corrective action plans.
- Communicate effectively with customer contacts, colleagues, freelancers, and internal project teams to maintain seamless delivery and alignment.
- Manage production escalations and ensure root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions are completed effectively.
- Conduct post-mortems on major account initiatives, document lessons learned, and coordinate follow-up improvements with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate account plans, documentation, workflows, and production procedures while ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Lead account portfolio teams, identify training and development needs, and support the growth of production capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue and Customer Success teams to ensure customer requirements are comprehensively implemented while maintaining production-specific SLAs.
- 8+ years of relevant experience managing enterprise-level localization programs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Languages, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex localization workflows and production programs for enterprise customers.
- Strong experience working directly with customers and translating business requirements into practical production solutions.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Highly analytical and structured approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify root causes, interpret performance data, and develop effective solutions.
- Proven ability to meet demanding deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
- Experience onboarding new customers and implementing localization programs, services, processes, and workflows.
- Experience designing or managing complex workflows for enterprise customers.
- Prior experience leading teams or managing production resources is preferred.
- Strong understanding of production KPIs, customer SLAs, operational performance, and continuous improvement principles.
- Ability to identify opportunities for automation and apply AI-driven approaches to improve production efficiency.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Solutions, Revenue, Customer Success, and other teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and improvement-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed, international environment and provide customer support aligned with relevant time zones.
- Competitive salary of approximately £60,000–£70,000, with starting compensation determined by experience, skills, qualifications, location, and organizational needs.
