About The Role
We are looking for a Product Research & Innovation Intern to support Clarity AI on its journey to become ESMA-regulated. Your objective will be to ensure that companies notified about their rating clearly understand what data and methodological approach Clarity AI has used to create it. Additionally, the person on this role will help us evolve, and expand our regulatory products, and you will be defining the tools to help our clients with their sustainability reporting requirements.
The Product Research & Innovation Intern should possess exceptional quantitative skills and thrive in an entrepreneurial setting. This includes contributing to the research and innovation of Clarity AI products, identifying scientifically robust solutions that address the needs of our clients, and creating minimum viable products / models that can be integrated into our tech tool. To be successful, you’ll need to leverage product expertise and client relation skills to ensure that our clients’ business requirements are being met.
The ideal candidate should love tackling different types of problems, enjoy collaborating with others to solve cross-functional challenges, and be able to contribute to actionable solutions. Furthermore, we appreciate it if you bring a passion for sustainability and sustainable finance in particular.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Interpreting data and responding to product-related questions from rated companies, engaging with subject matter experts as needed.
- Developing a deep technical knowledge of our clients and on the data product to be able to resolve rated companies’ queries.
- Identifying opportunities for product improvements based on your interactions with rated companies and discussing with the product team the product roadmap.
- Coordinating and working closely with other teams (e.g., product management, data engineering, data science, business development) to define, create and validate new models and features for our regulatory offering.
- Assessing trade-offs between different methodological options and proposing the most appropriate solution for our clients.
