About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Product QA Tester who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.

As a Product QA Tester, you will bring more than a checklist mentality to testing. This role is for someone who genuinely cares about the end-user experience, thinks critically about edge cases before they become incidents, and raises their hand proactively when something feels off — even if it's outside the immediate scope of a ticket. You'll work across our full product surface: mobile (React Native), web, and API layers, partnering closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to ship with confidence.

We're an AI-forward team. That means we expect this role to actively use tools like Claude to work smarter — generating test cases, pressure-testing expected behaviors, and thinking through edge cases more thoroughly than any one person could alone.

Shift Details

• First week (onboarding): 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm (India time) / 4:00 am – 12:00 pm (Central Time)
• Ongoing: 12:30 pm – 8:30 pm (India time) / 2:00 am – 10:00 am (Central Time)

What You'll Do

Quality ownership

• Design, write, and execute test plans for new features, regression cycles, and edge-case scenarios across mobile (iOS/Android), web, and API
• Catch issues in requirements and designs before engineering begins — not after
• Maintain and improve test coverage documentation so the team always knows what's tested and what isn't
• Triage and reproduce bugs with enough detail that engineers can act immediately — no back-and-forth

Proactive quality advocacy

• Participate in sprint planning and design reviews to identify gaps and risks early
• Raise quality concerns through appropriate channels, with clear reasoning and suggested mitigations — not just "this feels wrong"
• Monitor post-release behavior and surface regressions before customers do
• Suggest improvements to QA processes, tooling, and test infrastructure when you see a better path

Attention to detail in practice

• Test for what the spec says and what it doesn't — UX consistency, copy accuracy, accessibility, and real-world user flows
• Cross-reference acceptance criteria against actual behavior meticulously, flagging ambiguities rather than making assumptions

AI-assisted testing

• Use Claude or other AI tools to generate test cases, pressure-test expected behaviors, and think through edge cases more thoroughly
