The Difference You Will Make
The PM team at Airbnb is building an incubation machine to rapidly test and launch new business ideas that extend Airbnb beyond its core stays offering. We are seeking an exceptional product manager to drive this incubation engine — partnering closely with business, partnerships, engineering, and design to take new ideas from concept to validated MVP. In this role, you will own product work across multiple incubation tracks simultaneously, designing and piloting minimum viable experiences that test key business hypotheses. You will work within a modular platform of configurable components for most incubations, and partner with engineering and design for deeper integrations.
A Typical Day
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple incubation tracks simultaneously.
- Translate new business ideas and hypotheses into clear MVP scopes, leveraging the Guest App’s configurable platform components wherever possible to minimize engineering investment.
- Design and run pilots with clearly defined success criteria and measurable OKRs; synthesize learnings quickly and make data-driven graduate/expand/stop recommendations.
- Build strong working relationships with business development, partnerships, and external partners to ensure new offerings integrate seamlessly into the guest experience.
- Craft compelling product narratives for new incubations — for internal leadership alignment and for external launch communications.
