We’re building a large and complex product ecosystem that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners around the world. The platform includes a modern checkout experience and customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portals, admin tools, and several internal apps.
The Team
We are a distributed team of 160+ product professionals. Our team members are mainly based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus.

About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager, Billing own and evolve Fundraise Up’s Billing domain end-to-end: transaction-based fee handling, fee coverage, payouts, refunds and the financial flows behind donations. We charge organizations a percentage fee per transaction (netted from payouts), which donors can optionally cover.
Core Mission & Priorities
- Reliability first: keep donation money flow stable, correct, and predictable (uptime + accuracy).
- Invisible billing for orgs: minimize billing friction so organizations rarely have to think about payments engine.
- Growth enabler: unlock expansion via payment method coverage, localized compliance needs, retries engine and new verticals readiness.
What You’ll Do
- Own the Billing product area roadmap, outcomes, and prioritization; define quarterly goals and success metrics.
- Partner with Engineering to deliver resilient billing systems (accuracy, idempotency, retries, monitoring, incident response, and clear ownership boundaries).
- Improve revenue protection and customer experience via dunning, failed payment recovery, refunds, and dispute/chargeback-related flows (as applicable).
- Define and maintain billing domain documentation: data model, event flows, edge cases, and operational run-books.
- Run discovery with internal teams (GTM & Product Analyst) and customers to uncover pain points and opportunities; turn insights into clear PRDs and delivery plans.
- Establish and track core Billing KPIs (e.g., failed payment rate, recovery rate).
- Drive antifraud strategy execution: define priorities.
