Ruut is a digital coach that develops recovery and running skills based on metrics (primarily HRV). We teach athletes and aspiring athletes to make daily decisions — train or recover — manage fatigue and progress steadily. Our mission is to improve athletic form stability and recovery quality through clear daily actions and personalized running plans that reduce discomfort and injury risk.
11 days after launch, we found unit economics in the US. In 6 months, we grew 45x. Our next goal: become the #1 wellness brand for athletes and high performers in the US.
Role: Product Lead
We are looking for a strong Product Lead to own the mobile product and be responsible for the business results of the product direction.
You are the product owner: responsible for what we build, why we build it, how fast we deliver, and how it impacts metrics and revenue. This role is for someone equally strong in discovery, execution, and growth. We need an entrepreneurial mindset: the ability to think like a founder in your area — see opportunities, make decisions in uncertainty, stay focused on unit economics and results, not process. You will work directly with the CEO (Maxim), Lead Engineering, Product Designer, iOS Engineer, and others.
Key Challenges
- End-to-end product ownership: strategy → roadmap → delivery → analysis → iterations.
- Systematic growth of metrics: activation, retention, return, LTV, rebills, conversion.
- Continuous experimentation and user discovery in the product.
- Work with personalization and insights.
- Hiring and developing the product team.
Your Future Tasks
- Systematic growth of metrics: activation, retention, return, LTV, rebills, conversion.
- Formulate product strategy and turn it into a clear execution plan.
- Lead discovery: interviews, behavior analysis, competitive research, JTBD formulation.
- Write PRDs/specs, make prioritization decisions, control delivery.
- Build growth/retention mechanics: onboarding, engagement loops, communications (push/email/in-app), referral system.
- Work with analytics: dashboards, cohort analysis, unit economics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product / growth product.
- Strong analytical foundation, data-driven approach: Amplitude / Mixpanel + BI/dashboards.
- Practical experience with A/B tests, experimental design, ability to separate noise from increment.
- Experience improving retention/monetization (onboarding, paywall, communications, winback).
- Ability to work cross-functionally and take responsibility for results, not just a task list.
- Entrepreneurial approach: ability to act in uncertainty, find solutions independently, build from scratch, think in ROI and business impact categories.
Nice to Have
- Experience in health/fitness/wellness or products with habits/metric tracking.
- Experience in Tier-1 markets.
- Experience building a team from scratch.
- Experience in a startup environment or experience creating and managing your own project.
