Private Client Tax Manager/Senior Manager

About the Role

Mowery & Schoenfeld is seeking an ambitious and curious tax or senior tax manager with particular interest and expertise in private wealth and high-net worth group, mentoring younger staff, seeking ongoing learning, and providing exemplary client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engagements by meeting client needs with a sense of urgency.
• Develop recommendations and maintaining client relationships by balancing the client needs along with other assignments and deadlines.
• Provide proactive advice based on their knowledge of tax law, particularly within the private wealth and high-net worth group.
• Demonstrate initiative to creatively solve issues in collaboration with the lead.
• Leverage technology to automate both internal and client processes to improve efficiency.
• Act as a mentor to younger staff and work directly with Senior Managers and Partners.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates who can work in-office or hybrid schedules are strongly preferred.
