Sprout Social is seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Product Manager to drive the strategy, execution, and launch of key artificial intelligence features, expanding the capabilities of Sprout’s agentic AI, Trellis. The Principal PM will work with a high degree of autonomy, serving as the deep domain expert for their focus area, driving experimentation, and fostering a culture of rapid iteration. This role is critical to Sprout’s transformation into a proactive social intelligence platform.

Our Product team operates at the intersection of strategy, innovation, customer value, and go-to-market collaboration. As part of the broader R&D organization, our team collaborates closely with Engineering, Product Design, and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to create impactful experiences for customers while driving measurable business outcomes. Not only will you set the vision for the core Trellis experience of chat and studio (working with the VP of product), but you’ll play a pivotal role in the evolution of our overall product management practices and shaping a best-in-class product organization with a culture of operational excellence. What you’ll do

• Define and evangelize a high-impact roadmap for Trellis Chat and Trellis Studio that translates customer needs into intuitive agentic workflows ensuring Trellis solves key customer pain points and drives ROI.
• Lead high-stakes, platform-wide initiatives by identifying integration points across the Sprout portfolio, enabling customers to achieve sophisticated outcomes with minimal effort through seamless agentic assistance.
• Partner deeply with cross-functional teams to develop our Trellis skills ecosystem.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Trellis within the product org, maintaining a constant feedback loop with customers.
• Act as the connective tissue between GTM, Design, and Engineering to ensure that features are not only technically sound but also commercially viable and intuitively designed.
• Elevate the product organization’s collective AI literacy by mentoring peer PMs, sharing best practices, and helping shape the internal standards for building and shipping intelligent products.
• Stay at the forefront of AI trends and the competitor landscape.
• Drive the execution of best-in-class product delivery, balancing the urgency of immediate customer needs with the long-term scalability and innovation of our AI core.

What you’ll bring
