About the role

Accountabilities:

    • Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy custom Workday reports, dashboards, surveys, and analytics using Report Writer, Calculated Fields, BIRT, and related functionality.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable reporting solutions that support organizational and regulatory needs.
    • Develop and execute reporting and analytics strategies aligned with business objectives, while continuously improving the reporting catalogue and overall HR analytics capability.
    • Identify opportunities for automation, globalization, and process optimization, partnering with HR leaders to implement improvements.
    • Manage Workday upgrades, system changes, configuration updates, and related testing activities to ensure smooth adoption and reliable operations.
    • Support and optimize the Workday security framework, including security roles and role assignments, while maintaining appropriate access to sensitive employee data.
    • Establish and maintain reporting governance standards, including naming conventions, tagging, documentation, and standardized operating procedures.
    • Support audits, compliance activities, data investigations, escalated reporting inquiries, and troubleshooting of system and data issues.
    • Collaborate with integration and cross-functional teams to resolve data and integration issues and address dependencies across Workday modules.
    • Contribute to Workday implementation, optimization, and acquisition-related initiatives, including the technical integration of newly acquired organizations.
    • Build and maintain comprehensive test scenarios for new processes, features, upgrades, and reporting solutions.
    • Train users and stakeholders on Workday reporting capabilities, available reports, and reporting best practices.
    • Create and maintain SOPs and One Point Lessons (OPLs) to provide clear, reusable guidance for recurring processes and tasks.
    • Advise stakeholders on Workday reporting best practices and support the development of new processes requiring coordination across multiple HR technology modules.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
      • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday reporting tools and modules, including advanced reporting and analytics, dashboards, calculated fields, and configuration.
      • 5+ years of professional experience working with data, reporting, and analytics.
      • Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Report Writer, EIBs, and the broader Workday platform structure and functionality.
      • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive reporting strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
      • Experience analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and translating insights into practical recommendations for stakeholders.
      • Proven experience managing reporting projects from requirements gathering through planning, execution, testing, deployment, and documentation.
      • Strong knowledge of data governance principles and best practices, with a focus on data accuracy, confidentiality, and appropriate handling of employee information.
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
      • Workday BIRT and Composite Reporting experience is preferred.
      • Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
      • Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse, global, and fast-paced teams while managing multiple priorities.
