Role Overview

The Principal AI Engineer – Automation & AI is a hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-powered automation solutions across eClinical Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered automation solutions with 70-80% hands-on development
• Operate within a small, high-output team (2-4 engineers)
• Work directly with CTAO and business leaders to identify high-value use cases
• Rapidly translate business requirements into working AI systems in production
• Build, ship, and iterate continuously using modern AI tooling and agentic frameworks
• Deliver measurable impact across enterprise operations and clinical development
