Mission
As a Practice Manager, you will lead the Services Delivery (SD) business and delivery for your region/market (e.g., Japan & Korea). You will design and execute service strategies to maximize Snowflake's value while achieving quarterly Bookings, Consumption, and Utilization targets.
Your Impact
- Services Sales & Consumption: Own quarterly Bookings and utilization targets; collaborate with AE/SE, partners, and SD leadership to identify opportunities, scope engagements, create SOWs, lead deal reviews, and manage forecasting for your Book of Business.
- Delivery Success & Customer Satisfaction: Design and manage service delivery roadmaps; manage project progress, quality, risk, and escalation; maintain project financials; and provide regular service reviews to leadership.
- Account & Partner Strategy: Jointly develop account plans with AE/SE; design co-delivery/co-selling models with partners (SI/GSI/ISV); promote scalable delivery models including subcontracting and staff augmentation.
- Practice & Operational Excellence: Lead process improvements (scoping, SOW standardization, deal review simplification); leverage AI tools for efficiency; monitor KPIs (utilization, bookings, consumption, NPS); and provide insights to leadership.
- Leadership & Talent: Mentor SD team members, drive delivery governance, and foster a “PSD Seller” mindset; collaborate globally for best practices.
Who You Are
- 10+ years of experience in Sales & Services Delivery or equivalent role
- Experience with complex enterprise technical projects (e.g., cloud DWH/data platform migration, modernization, AI/ML)
- Executive stakeholder management (CxO to VP level)
- Direct experience in data warehousing, BI, or cloud domains
- Experience with Snowflake, other cloud DWH, or public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
- Proven track record of achieving numerical KPIs (bookings, utilization, consumption)
- Strong business literacy and technical understanding to translate business goals into Snowflake use cases
- Ability to discuss architecture and implementation constraints with technical teams
- Clear cross-functional communication and consensus-building skills
- Strong organizational skills and ownership to manage multiple projects/accounts autonomously
Nice to Have
- Experience in technical advisory roles (Solution Architect, Technical Account Manager, System Administrator)
- Experience collaborating with Data/AI/Analytics partner ecosystems (SI, GSI, ISV)
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level (able to negotiate and facilitate with customer executives and partners)
- English: Business level (able to participate in global team meetings, document reviews, and presentations)
