About the role
You will deliver quality primary and urgent care to Oscar members via phone, video, and asynchronous messaging. This role will also serve as a supervising physician to other Advanced Practice Providers. This is a full time, Monday - Friday, 40 hour per week employed role. Our Virtual Clinic is open 7am - 11 pm EST. You will work at least one evening shift per week. There are no required current weekend requirements. You will report into the Medical Director, Oscar Primary Care

Pay Transparency
The base pay for this role is: $225,000 - $246,750 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year, and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care virtually to a panel of patients (ages 18+) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies and support while supporting urgent care needs in our 24/7 urgent care clinic
- Collaborate with MAs, RNs, BH and CM as well as other providers across service lines
- Supervise and prescriptive authority with APPs and perform quality assurance
- Internal medicine certification not required to see children
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Must hold an active medical license in a state that participates in the IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).
- Must meet one of the following state combinations:
- Multiple active licenses in FL, GA, or TX.
- One active license in FL, GA, or TX plus one active license in AZ or OK.
- Active IMLCC participation with the ability to quickly toggle on additional member states.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds
- 3+ years experience in an in-person outpatient primary care office (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Med/Peds)
Bonus points
- 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
- Fluent in Spanish
- Licensed in other Oscar states
