About the role

Accountabilities:

    • Design, develop, test, and maintain PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM solutions supporting legislative, tax, regulatory, and compliance changes.
    • Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into practical, scalable, and high-quality PeopleSoft solutions.
    • Investigate complex technical and functional issues, apply sound technical judgment, and develop solutions that meet quality and compliance standards.
    • Work collaboratively within an Agile Scrum team, contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other development activities.
    • Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, fellow developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective customer-focused solutions.
    • Support solutions across multiple PeopleSoft releases and modules, adapting implementations to evolving business and regulatory requirements.
    • Perform development and testing activities to ensure solutions are reliable, maintainable, and fit for purpose.
    • Create clear, user-friendly technical and functional documentation to support customers and internal teams.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, solution quality, and team effectiveness.
    • Maintain a strong customer-focused mindset while balancing technical excellence, compliance, scalability, and delivery requirements.
    • Requirements

      • Strong professional experience in PeopleSoft development.
      • In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and ideally FSCM, with experience across multiple releases and modules.
      • Proven ability to analyze functional and technical requirements and convert them into effective PeopleSoft solutions.
      • Experience delivering solutions in regulated, compliance-driven, tax, legal, or similarly controlled environments.
      • Experience working within Agile Scrum teams and collaborating with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and business stakeholders.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly when addressing complex technical challenges.
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
      • Strong attention to quality, accuracy, documentation, and compliance.
      • Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering reliable and practical outcomes.
      • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative, globally distributed team.
      • Legal authorization to work in India is required.
      • Additional language skills beyond English are a plus.
