About the role

Accountabilities:

    • Manage a dedicated portfolio of client accounts and support their payroll processing needs from submission through completion.
    • Engage with clients by phone and web to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll-related challenges.
    • Provide technical guidance and support on payroll processing procedures, workflows, and best practices.
    • Manage the integration of client payroll submissions into the payroll software platform, ensuring information is processed accurately and efficiently.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for employer and employee questions related to payroll.
    • Monitor multiple client payroll cycles simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and a high level of service.
    • Investigate payroll discrepancies and determine appropriate solutions while keeping clients informed throughout the resolution process.
    • Build trusted client relationships through responsive communication, proactive support, and a strong understanding of their payroll requirements.
    • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling payroll and employee information.
    • Requirements:

      • 3+ years of professional experience in payroll processing, payroll support, or a closely related function.
      • Hands-on experience with SaaS-based payroll software such as ADP, Paycor, Paylocity, or comparable platforms.
      • Strong understanding of payroll processes, procedures, and common payroll-related issues.
      • Demonstrated customer service skills and a genuine interest in helping clients resolve problems effectively.
      • Ability to manage multiple client payroll cycles and competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
      • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
      • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
      • Preferred: Experience in the construction industry.
      • Preferred: Exposure to certified payroll, Davis-Bacon requirements, or prevailing wage payroll.
      • Preferred: Experience in a PEO or ASO environment.
      • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
      • Benefits:

        • Salary: $50,000–$65,000 annually, depending on experience.
        • Fully remote position within the United States.
