Patient Engagement Lead (LATAM)
About the role

<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">The Patient Engagement Lead (PEL) supports the delivery and execution of patient engagement strategies for clinical trials. Working as part of a cross-functional team, this role helps translate patient engagement plans into operational activities that improve patient access, understanding, recruitment, and retention.</p>

<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">The PEL collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to support the development and implementation of patient-focused solutions, contributing to improved patient and care partner experience across assigned studies.</p>

<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities&nbsp;</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Support project teams in translating patient engagement strategies into practical, study-level plans and deliverables</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Assist in the development or coordination of patient engagement materials in line with literacy, health literacy, and DEI guidelines</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Support identification and engagement of Patient Advocacy Groups and community organizations</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Contribute to patient feasibility activities, including collecting and summarizing patient and caregiver insights</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Coordinate with vendors (e.g., travel, outreach, home health) to help ensure a positive patient experience</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Partner with internal teams to support inclusive representation in clinical trials and patient engagement initiatives</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Assist in monitoring implementation of patient engagement plans and tracking study impact metrics</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Participate in sponsor and internal meetings; may support presentation of patient engagement plans and updates</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Contribute to bid defense preparation and provide input on patient engagement components</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Maintain effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">And other job duties as assigned by the line manager</li>

<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;">&nbsp;</p>
<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Minimum Education &amp; Experience: </span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Degree in life sciences or related field (or equivalent experience)</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">A minimum of 3 years’ experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, or healthcare organizations</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Exposure to clinical trial operations and/or patient engagement activities</li>
</ul>
<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;">&nbsp;</p>
<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Preferred Education &amp; Experience:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Experience supporting patient engagement, recruitment, or clinical trial delivery</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Familiarity with patient-centered research or patient advocacy engage</li>
<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Professional working proficiency in English required</li>
</ul>

<li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 10.5pt;">Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li>
