About the role

Accountabilities

    • Support contract drafting, review, redlining, execution, and lifecycle management, including tracking deadlines, obligations, approvals, and other key milestones.
    • Maintain and organize corporate governance records, including board consents, resolutions, subsidiary documentation, and regulatory filings.
    • Coordinate the execution of government and commercial agreements while maintaining accurate and structured documentation repositories.
    • Conduct legal and factual research related to government procurement, FAR/DFARS requirements, regulatory developments, and compliance obligations.
    • Prepare and organize documentation for audits, government inquiries, compliance reviews, and other regulatory activities, including matters involving CUI, cybersecurity, and export controls.
    • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal legal processes, templates, policies, and documentation frameworks.
    • Assist the General Counsel with due diligence, financing activities, board materials, and related corporate documentation.
    • Coordinate with external legal counsel across litigation, intellectual property, corporate, regulatory, and other specialized matters.
    • Prepare presentations, reports, summaries, and other materials for executive leadership and internal stakeholders.
    • Work collaboratively with executives, technical teams, government-facing personnel, and external advisors while maintaining confidentiality and professional discretion.
    • Requirements

      • 8–10+ years of paralegal experience within a law firm, corporate legal department, government organization, or comparable professional environment.
      • Active paralegal certification or relevant degree, such as an ABA-approved paralegal certificate, associate's or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, or equivalent qualifications.
      • Demonstrated experience supporting legal operations in a defense, aerospace, government, government-adjacent, or similarly regulated environment.
      • Strong knowledge of government contracting processes, procurement workflows, FAR/DFARS requirements, and related compliance obligations.
      • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex matters and competing deadlines.
      • Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, and a high degree of accuracy when handling sensitive legal and business information.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear legal and executive-facing materials.
      • Experience interacting effectively with senior executives, technical teams, external counsel, and other stakeholders.
      • Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
      • Experience with aerospace or defense contractors, federal programs, or regulated technology companies is highly desirable.
      • Familiarity with CUI requirements, cybersecurity frameworks, and U.S. export control regulations is a plus.
      • Experience supporting financing transactions, intellectual property matters, litigation, or corporate transactions is advantageous.
      • Proficiency with document-management systems, contract lifecycle management tools, and modern collaboration platforms is preferred.
      • Must be able to satisfy applicable U.S. export-control and ITAR eligibility requirements for access to controlled technology.
