About the role
Accountabilities:
- Build and execute outbound campaigns: Research and develop targeted lists of school mental health professionals, create prospecting sequences, and manage outreach and deliverability from end to end.
- Develop compelling messaging: Write and optimize cold email sequences, event campaigns, reminders, follow-ups, and nurture communications tailored to specific audiences.
- Drive phone outreach: Conduct outbound calls to prospective referral partners, recognizing that meaningful relationships can begin through direct conversations as well as digital channels.
- Manage multi-channel engagement: Execute outreach across relevant platforms and use automation thoughtfully to increase efficiency without sacrificing personalization.
- Promote clinical webinars: Drive registrations and attendance for clinical training webinars, then follow up with attendees to identify and engage promising referral partners.
- Activate referral relationships: Schedule conversations with clinical teams, support dedicated training opportunities, and maintain engagement with active referral partners.
- Test and optimize: Develop experiments across offers, resources, messaging, and outreach approaches, using performance data to continuously improve results.
- Build scalable processes: Work with Growth leadership to document successful tactics, create repeatable playbooks, and establish processes that can scale without excessive manual effort.
- Own performance metrics: Track and improve key measures across outreach activity, response and engagement, event attendance, and referral partner activation.
- Relevant experience: 2–4 years of experience in outbound sales, BDR/SDR, demand generation, growth, or a comparable hands-on role.
- Outbound expertise: Demonstrated experience building and executing outbound programs using tools such as Instantly, Clay, Outreach, Smartlead, Apollo, or similar platforms.
- Multi-channel communication: Comfortable and effective with both written outreach and phone prospecting; able to combine strong copywriting with confident calling.
- Copywriting skills: Proven ability to create compelling outreach messaging, with an emphasis on generating meaningful responses and conversions rather than simply maximizing open rates.
- Research ability: Strong research instincts and curiosity, with the ability to understand how organizations operate and identify the right stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Growth mindset: Resourceful and willing to experiment, learn from results, and continuously refine outreach strategies based on evidence.
- Execution and ownership: Highly self-directed, persistent, organized, and reliable when managing follow-up and multiple outreach initiatives simultaneously.
- Mission alignment: Genuine interest in supporting youth and family mental health, with the empathy and care required when communicating about sensitive topics.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with Growth, Clinical, and Operations teams in a distributed and evolving environment.
- Base salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually.
- Performance bonus: $20,000 at target, with potential to earn up to $25,000 for strong performance.
- Equity: Includes an equity component.
- Remote flexibility: Full-time remote position open to candidates anywhere in the United States.
- Paid time off: 15 days in year one, 20 days in year two, and 25 days from year three onward.
- Flexible paid days: 7 paid flex days per year, primarily intended for sick time, with up to 3 available for religious holidays, volunteering, or other personal needs.
