Outpatient Psychiatrist (Remote)

Position Overview

Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and more
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy recommendations
• Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, schools, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Georgia state regulations
• Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations
• Stay current on the latest developments in psychiatric care and treatment approaches

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completed residency in Psychiatry
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Georgia medical license
• DEA license for Georgia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with diverse patient populations across the lifespan

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care settings
• Familiarity with telepsychiatry platforms and electronic health records (EHR)
• Bilingual candidates (especially Spanish-speaking) are encouraged to apply

Schedule

Flexible Part-Time Hours (15–22 hours/week)
Afternoon/evening availability a must!
Optional weekend hours available based on patient demand
