Oracle Infrastructure/Networking Technical Engineer

The Work:

You will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the performance, security, and reliability of network systems. Your primary responsibilities will include configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, with a focus on advanced technologies such as F5 networks and Palo Alto firewalls. You will be tasked with ensuring seamless connectivity, implementing robust security measures, and supporting the organization's mission-critical operations. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving network issues, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall network efficiency.

• Manage and maintain F5 networks
• Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls
• Implement security measures in compliance with DOD standards
• Monitor network performance and ensure uptime
• Collaborate with team members to optimize network infrastructure

Here's what you need:

• Five Years of Cloud experience
• Must have Oracle Cloud experience
• Prior experience with Defense security requirements (STIG, ACAS etc.)
• Deep understanding of Cloud networking and security. Experience with Terraform/Tofu and Ansible
• Exposure to third party Application load balancers (e.g., F5) and Network Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto)
• Secret / Interim Secret required

Bonus if you have:

Prior experience with BCAP implementations
Defense experience
