Oncology Territory Manager, Solid Tumor - Los Angeles North

About the Role

As an Oncology Territory Manager for Solid Tumor, you will be responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products in the Los Angeles North region, including Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Santa Monica, and Lancaster.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize company resources in a prudent fashion, consistent with all company guidelines
• Report all adverse events related to products in a timely, compliant manner
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of distribution and delivery systems for oral molecules
• Understand the interface between specialty pharmacy and provider
• Manage in-office dispensing model functionality

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of demonstrated successful pharmaceutical experience
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• High comprehension of scientific knowledge and ability to communicate with medical professionals in a compliant manner
• Strong computer and technical skills to navigate software programs and analyze territory-specific data
• Valid driver's license in good standing

Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology, rare disease, or specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
• Established rapport and relationships in the geographic area
• Large account management experience with emphasis on key large oncology community practices
• Experience with academic and NCI/NCCN cancer centers

Travel Requirements

30-40% travel depending on specific territory

Training Requirements

This position is contingent upon successfully passing mandatory product training which includes written and oral examinations. After successful passage, the employee will transition to exempt status and will no longer be eligible for overtime.
