About the role
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Occupational Therapist efficiently and accurately provides evidence-based evaluations and treatment sessions focused on supporting emotional regulation, sensory processing, executive functioning, and participation in daily activities. Through collaboration with other specialty providers, this position develops and implements individualized treatment plans for new and existing Blackbird patients.

Enjoy the flexibility of a remote environment, with the option to work onsite on a need basis (1x a week) in our Fort Washington, Exton, Langhorne, King of Prussia or Doylestown PA clinic locations.

How you’ll make an impact:
- Complete a set number (minimum 6 per week) of 60-minute occupational therapy evaluations (direct clinical service), with 30-minute documentation time (non-direct clinical service).
- Identify candidates for short-term, focused OT treatment programs and conduct 30-minute treatment sessions as clinically indicated.
- Participate in weekly team meetings (approximately 30 minutes per week).
- Maintain a clinical schedule that includes a combination of morning and evening evaluation times (8–10 am and 3–7 pm) and weekday/weekend availability (preference for candidates with weekend availability).
- This position will primarily focus on weekday evaluations after 3 pm EST and/or weekend evaluations.
The basics you’ll need:
- Education: Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
- Licensure: Valid Pennsylvania state license in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience: At least two years of experience providing occupational therapy services in a pediatric or multidisciplinary setting; experience with telehealth preferred.
