NetSuite Developer

Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Developer to join our team. In this role you will help design, build, enhance, and support our NetSuite environment and related business systems. This role involves working closely with the eTech Engineering team as well as business stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Operations and Revenue) to support and deliver solutions that meet the organization’s objectives. You will provide critical technical support and implement system enhancements that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

• • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain NetSuite customizations, includingSuiteScripts, SuiteFlows, SuiteBuilder, saved searches, custom records, and dashboards
  • Familiarity in building SuiteScripts within NetSuite to automate business processes (User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Client Scripts, Suitelets, and RESTlets)
  • Build and support integrations between NetSuite and other internal or third-party applications using RESTlets, SuiteTalk, APIs, middleware, or iPaaS platforms
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes
  • Optimize existing NetSuite configurations, scripts, and workflows for performance, usability, and scalability
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes by ensuring system reliability and timely issue resolution
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and deployment notes
  • Assist with release management, sandbox testing, change control, and post-deployment validation
  • Recommend best practices for NetSuite architecture, customization, security, and support
  • Stay current on NetSuite platform capabilities and evaluate opportunities to improve business processes through automation

Qualifications & Experience

• Required

  • 3+ years of experience developing and supporting NetSuite
  • Strong experience with SuiteScript 2.0 and/or 2.x
  • Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, saved searches, custom forms, roles, records, and reports
  • Experience building and supporting NetSuite integrations
  • Strong understanding of ERP business processes, especially across finance and operations
  • Experience with JavaScript, JSON, XML, CSV, and web services (REST and SOAP)
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system and data issues across multiple business functions
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment

  Preferred:

  • NetSuite certifications such as NetSuite Administrator or SuiteCloud Developer
  • Experience supporting OneWorld, multi-subsidiary, or multi-entity environments
  • Experience with middleware or integration tools such as MuleSoft or similar platforms and REST/SOAP API’s
  • Experience with SDF and Release Management of deploying from Sandbox to Production
  • Familiarity with SQL, data mapping, and ETL concepts
  • Experience working in partnership with Finance Systems, ERP, or enterprise applications teams
  • Experience working with ancillary systems such as SalesForce, Avalara, Kolleno, Snowflake etc.
