Why this role matters

DACH-NL is one of our key markets in EMEA, with RCS and Network Powered solutions live across carriers. As a Mid-Market Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving new business growth and managing a portfolio of existing accounts in the DACH-NL region. With a quota tied to both margin growth and new business, your impact will be direct and measurable and your success will fuel Vonage's continued expansion across the region.

Your key responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of mid-market accounts in the DACH-NL region, driving net new business and ensuring strong retention and expansion of existing customers
  • Develop and execute territory plans with a clear focus on new logo acquisition and revenue growth for network-powered solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and senior stakeholders across business, marketing, and technology functions
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, solutions engineering, and customer success teams to deliver tailored CPaaS/API solutions to prospects and customers
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce, acting as a business owner for your territory
  • Represent Vonage at industry events and leverage your local network to accelerate new business opportunities
  • Contribute to regional planning and share market intelligence to support the broader EMEA sales strategy

What you'll bring

Required:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in CPaaS, SaaS, or telecommunications, with a strong track record of new business development
  • Fluency in German and English both written and spoken
  • Deep understanding of the German/DACH-NL market, including cultural nuances and business practices
  • Strong existing network within the DACH-NL region, particularly with mid-market or Fortune 500 companies
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and engaging with multi-level stakeholders
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote/distributed environment
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and pipeline management

Experience we consider a plus:

  • Familiarity with RCS, network-powered solutions, or messaging APIs
  • Experience selling to or within Fortune 500 accounts
  • Background in a high-growth or scale-up technology environment
  • Additional European language skills
