About the Role

Sync is seeking a marketing leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You understand that meaningful conversion rate improvements matter more than viral moments, and you have a track record of inheriting marketing programs and making them work better through testing and optimization rather than wholesale changes.

First 90 Days

You'll conduct a comprehensive audit of all marketing channels and systems:

  • Ad accounts across platforms
  • Landing pages and conversion funnels
  • Email sequences and attribution
  • Identify performance gaps and create an optimization plan

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full acquisition funnel — manage paid search, paid social, SEO, email, landing pages, and conversion rate optimization across all touchpoints
  • Manage paid acquisition — oversee significant ad spend across Google Ads, Meta, and Bing in multiple markets (US, Canada, international). Optimize weekly based on ROAS, CPA, and LTV metrics
  • Build converting landing pages — create high-converting pages using HubSpot, with focus on messaging, hierarchy, offers, and urgency. Write copy and brief design work
  • Run continuous CRO programs — maintain a backlog of hypotheses and run regular A/B tests, prioritizing by impact
  • Drive email and lifecycle marketing — build nurture sequences, onboarding flows, re-engagement campaigns, and upgrade nudges that drive revenue
  • Lead the marketing team — manage a Marketing Coordinator and develop the team over time through clear expectations and outcome-focused accountability
  • Own marketing data — pull insights from GA4, HubSpot, ad platforms, and attribution models independently
  • Collaborate across the business — work with product, sales, and customer success to align marketing with company growth goals

What You Bring

  • Proven experience managing campaigns and inherited marketing programs
  • Track record managing six-figure monthly ad budgets
  • Expertise in paid search, paid social, SEO, email marketing, and CRO
  • Ability to write landing page copy and manage CMS platforms
  • Comfort with data analysis and pulling your own reports
  • Balance between strategic vision and hands-on execution
  • Experience leading and developing marketing teams
