About the role

Accountabilities

    • Create, maintain, and update critical trial-specific documentation, including monitoring guidelines, informed consent materials, and investigational medicinal product documentation.
    • Coordinate the setup and ongoing management of study vendors, including scope of work development, budget oversight, contracting activities, and day-to-day delivery.
    • Lead country and regional coordination of trial management activities, aligning feasibility strategies and targets with local teams and monitoring country-level risks and challenges.
    • Maintain visibility across projects and countries to identify operational dependencies, emerging issues, and potential impacts on overall study delivery.
    • Support the development and delivery of program-level compound training in collaboration with Clinical, CTL&D, Medical Writing, and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Provide input into trial-level operational strategies and support effective planning and execution across clinical study activities.
    • Identify, assess, and resolve trial-related issues while developing and implementing appropriate risk mitigation plans.
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives at the trial, compound, and cross-functional level to strengthen operational efficiency and quality.
    • Support Health Authority inspections and contribute to program-level risk identification, preparation, and mitigation for key issues.
    • Mentor and support new team members, particularly colleagues working in Trial Management, while promoting engagement, inclusion, and collaborative behaviors.
    • Build strong working relationships with Trial Management Directors, Clinical Trial Leaders, Clinical Trial Assistants, Delivery Operations, Clinical teams, Procurement, and external vendors.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Life Sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
      • At least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or a related industry.
      • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical development process and clinical research operations across multiple study phases, including Phase I–IV.
      • Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee multiple aspects of global clinical trial execution, with 2–3 years of experience leading multiple components of a global clinical trial.
      • Proven leadership capabilities, including the ability to foster team productivity, collaboration, and cohesiveness.
      • Experience leading without direct authority in complex, cross-functional, matrixed, and globally distributed environments.
      • Strong decision-making, analytical, project planning, and financial management skills, with the ability to operate independently and execute effectively with limited supervision.
      • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and project management capabilities.
      • Experience mentoring, coaching, and supporting the development of colleagues.
      • Strong understanding of clinical trial systems, compliance requirements, research ethics, standard operating procedures, contract management, and trial operations.
      • Demonstrated ability to use evidence and analytical reasoning to assess risks, make decisions, and maintain focus on execution.
      • Willingness to travel approximately 15–20%, depending on business needs.
